THE UNCROWNED QUEEN APPRECIATION JOURNAL

Self-Appreciation

As Black women, we rarely take the opportunity to slow down and acknowledge our magnificence. Instead, we’re so busy rushing around serving others that we forget to be in service to ourselves. As a result, our dreams and desires get intertwined with others, and we lose track of what is significant to us.

Writing in The Appreciation journal consistently allows us to get in the practice of honoring and acknowledging ourselves. Something miraculously happens when we consciously shine a light on our greatness. The more we appreciate who we are, the better we feel about ourselves.

This practice becomes a form of self-care. Our self-love deepens because what we appreciate increases. Practice radical self-care, appreciate yourself everyday and watch your self-love expand!!
